At the start of 2022, Saudi Xerox’s partnership with Seera has been a positive step in aligning with Saudi’s Vision 2030 for digital transformation. This partnership marks Saudi Xerox’s most formative collaboration for the start of 2022 and is just the beginning of more strategic partnerships to support Saudi’s Vision 2030. Mehmet Sezer, General Manager of Saudi Xerox reveals that this partnership with Seera is one of the most strategic alliances in the hospitality industry.

The agreement was promulgated by Majed Al Nefaie, Seera CEO and Mehmet Sezer, General Manager of Saudi Xerox. In its aim to boost investment towards achieving Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is moving steadily towards leveraging its technology. Sezer adds, “One of the main directives for Vision 2030 is diversification away from an economy based on natural resources to become a digitally enabled hub for trade, innovation and investment through the implementation of digital technology.

“Several key technologies that will help Saudi Arabia meet its Vision 2030 goals are a synergistic effort between both the public and private sector entities in the country to help the Kingdom meet its targets,” he says. These are based around three key themes: a vibrant society, a thriving economy and an ambitious nation.

Not limited to a specific sector, Sezer points out that the digital transformation process is being implemented at many levels, including transportation, education, healthcare, oil and gas, finance, utilities and the energy sectors.

“Investment and research into specific technologies can aid organisations’ digital transformation journey,” he says, especially with the large-scale adoption of transformative digital solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, cloud computing, the internet of things (IoT), and augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR).
